By creating an account or using MOMENTS you agree to these terms.
Who can use MOMENTS
You must be at least 18 years old and use your real name and real photos of yourself. One account per person.
What MOMENTS is
MOMENTS helps travelers and locals find and join real-world activities ("Moments") and meet new people while traveling.
Your behaviour
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, nudity, scams, spam or illegal activity.
- Don't use MOMENTS to sell services or for spam and advertising without our permission.
- Hosts describe their Moment honestly; guests show up or leave the Moment if plans change.
- Meet in public places and look after yourself. MOMENTS does not check people in person and is not responsible for what happens at a Moment.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report and block anyone in the app.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us permission to show it in MOMENTS to run the service. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
MOMENTS Plus and Highlights
Subscriptions and Highlights are bought through the App Store or Google Play and follow their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store / Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Free trials, where offered, turn into a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription – cancel it in your store settings.
Our responsibility – please read
- MOMENTS only connects people. We do not organise, host, supervise or check any Moment, place or person. Every Moment is arranged by its host, and everyone takes part voluntarily and at their own risk.
- We are not responsible for what happens between members – in the app (messages, profiles, content, plans) or outside it (meetings, travel, activities, transport, venues, money, property, injury or anything else).
- We do not do background checks. Photo verification only shows that a photo matches the person who took it – it is not a guarantee of who someone is or how they behave.
- You are responsible for your own safety, your belongings, your decisions and for following local laws. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are, and leave if something feels wrong. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
- Any dispute between members is between those members. MOMENTS is not a party to it.
- MOMENTS is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise the app is always available, error-free, or that information shown by members is accurate.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, MOMENTS and its owners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from contact with other members. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- You agree to cover any claims and costs against MOMENTS caused by your breach of these terms or your conduct towards others.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version and important changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by Swedish law.
